Open source local first AI that started as a wrapper around Llama.cpp. Founders Jeffrey Morgan and Michael Chiang (University of Waterloo) went through the Winter 2021 Y-Combinator batch with $125K invested.

They now also have Ollama Cloud with hosted models that all run in the US.
